Now It Begins
So, it's all over. Or is it?
We finished on a high in Berlin on the 8th July to a sell out show as always. It was a great night - everyone feeling lucky to be at the last European show of the tour. The band cracked a few jokes to the audience who were bobbing around under a sea of brightly coloured umbrellas. And the crew were enjoying themselves and looking forward to a well earned rest after a really well received tour. (Before heading off to the States of course to do it all again.)
As always the audience were good fun and Bund (Friends of the Earth Germany) signed up just over 1200 supporters to their campaign.
Take a look at the pictures of the night here;

So what now? Well, after travelling through ten countries and signing up over 30,000 supporters (big thanks to you), we see this as just the start of something very exciting.
After our success in getting a climate bill put through in UK, we're now working hard to make sure this ground breaking climate law is one that works -
for example, by including annual targets AND the UK's international shipping and aviation emissions.
So, The Big Ask is about 17 countries who are building on this success and asking the same of their governments. They are all asking their governments to commit to binding targets to reduce carbon emissions, year on year.
There is a real opportunity here to lead the way on this and show the world what's possible.
Get involved and see what's happening in your country .

This seems to be the first sane, reasoned way out of what is basically an international emergency. Any person out there who has any concern about global warming in this country, who feels powerless like I did, should think about getting involved in the Big Ask.
